Enjoyed a Hugo spritz tonight. St Germain muddled a bit with mint, Prosecco, club soda and a lime. Very refreshing.

Last night I made Fiesta Night (beef, beans, rice, taco seasoning… a simple-yet-yummy tex-mex base). Our actual fiesta involved vodka, cranberry juice, and then apple juice.
The bathroom was a war zone, but I feel fine today.

Every year there are fireworks the night before the 4th of July where we live. My wife and I have gone to dinner on the harbor on the 3rd for several years, at the same restaurant. I make a reservation for 7pm, we enjoy our meal while watching the sun set over the water, then we watch the fireworks among hundreds of families.
It’s such a nice break from the everyday noise and nonsense. Everyone gets along. There is no us against them. I stop and pet every dog. People are so friendly.
I hope other people have something like this to recharge their battery.

Since the sun came out and stayed out, I decided to celebrate with a homemade cocktail. Banana rum, fresh squeezed orange juice, Triple Sec, Maraschino liquor, diet 7-up, a float of dark rum, and a Luxardo cherry. Makes up for dropping the juice glass on the floor first thing this morning.

No fancy drinks here, but stopped at the little brewery station 
to get some refreshments on the way home after watching the parade downtown. I had a Frosé (rose wine slushy) and Mr. got a brewski. Hit the right spot!

A co-worker convinced me to download the OnlyDrams app and enter the bourbon bottles I have. That was a mistake. What was I thinking buying all of this bourbon?
