Sinner's Alley Happy Hour (Part 2)

That does beg the question of how many bottles is the “correct” count for a properly stocked liquor cabinet?

One of every flavor and some in differing years. With the proper glasses and proper sized ice cubes. Then we need the proper utensils–muddler, zester, strainer, shaker etc.
Don’t forget cherries, orange, lime, olives in all variations etc. and mixers!

But bourbon on the rocks limits it JUST a tad. Then add chocolate for a proper tasting session.

(I’m not even a bourbon fan but you can tell who I hang around…)

You just listed most of the non-bourbon contents of my bourbon cabinet. LOL! I currently have 51 bottles…more than some…much less than others.

You won’t even make it a year if taking down a bottle a week😀 That’s a proper “collection”.

Just left Independent Ice in Portland where we took our guests to sample some of their 400 whiskies and bourbons. You can never have enough bourbon and don’t need any wussy embellishments.

Currently on vacation. Have been enjoying Ina Garten’s fresh whiskey sours and Lemon Bowl’s jalapeño margaritas. Both dangerously delicious.

Vino all the way here! We found a winery restaurant that doesn’t triple the price of wine bottles as long as they are from the winery that owns the place. :sunglasses:

We had a dozen friends over before a concert (wasn’t interested in it myself but husband went). So I checked what we had on hand for a cocktail: fresh squeezed two oranges and a lemon, white rum, dark rum, Triple Sec, Luxardo liqueur, and a dash of diet 7-Up. Plus one Luxardo cherry. They’re off and I’m relaxing on the deck.

For those so inclined, excellent condition vintage Ebaloy juicers can be found on Ebay if you’re patient. Our staff mixologist at work turned me on to this. I purchased one several years ago, and recently gifted one to each of our boys.

LOL! That first bottle retails for $7500, but on the secondary market it’s almost twice that. How about a private jet?
