Sister

My parents had the usual parent teacher conference that all teachers do with the parents at the end of each trimester or whenever throughout the year.
My fourth grade sisters teacher told my parents she thought my sister was having trouble making friends because she had high expectations of other people and could be a little bossy. I don’t know whether she is being a bully or being bullied by others, from what the teachers says it could be either. I’m trying to encourage her at home to be welcoming to all types of other people and be friendly, and to try to find some people she likes and befriend them. I don’t know what else I can do for her besides this.
Would you rather have your little sister be a bully to other people or constantly be bullied and torn down by her peers?

IMHO, a lot of the time they’re simultaneous. You don’t have to be an angel to be a victim. Kids sometimes bully others because it’s happened to them and they have come to view it as normal/not wrong.
