They will look at students in your math cohort (and your GC must make sure that cohort is clear/what your math sequence is) applying for CS and in that cohort may choose 12, 3, 1 or zero.
I know you’re keenly aware that CS is currently the most competitive major (next would be Biological Sciences, Engineering, and Economics/Business/PoliticalScience.)
So, one thing you can do to keep your options open is to check out majors such as Informatics, Data Science, CS+X, Computing…
Other things you can do that would emhance your profile more than skipping a key class, is developing your programming or coding skills, doing something with your CS abilities so you help people, participating in Hackathons or such activities…
