Sleep Deprivation

Do you deprive your body of sleep?

How does your body respond?

I hallucinate… The message at the top right corner of this window just read Your PM box is a 92% fail…time to log off :b

My body is so genetically superior that it does not require sleep.

Yes. I sometimes feel weird while standing in the same place at one time. I take naps during the day. I feel normal no matter what usually.

Yeah, I’m pretty sleep deprived a lot of the time. I get this weird feeling that I’m rolling/spinning when I’m just standing around. I also get a twitchy eye. And I get twice as irritated by the already irritating people at my irritating school lol

I don’t sleep during the weekdays until pretty late, and this screws me over because on weekends I’m WAY too tired to do anything, but I still can’t fall asleep for whatever reason.

Right now I should NOT be sitting at home but I’m way too tired and comfortable here to leave  I really should get some sleep…

No, I usually acquire about 8 hours of sleep per night. I think that I sleep too much.

If I don’t get enough sleep, my mind doesn’t work very quickly.

What Tikiman said.

I get at least 10 hours of sleep a day. I come home from school, take a nap, then do some homework, then AP study, shower/eat etc., and then sleep relatively early (so I can get 9+ hours of sleep). Sleep is sacred to me - never will I give it up. The effects of sleep deprivation go as follows:

 1. Limited inhibition (not great for my sense of humor…bah xD)
 2. Twitchy eye
 3. Heightened irritation/acerbity (does not help #1 incredibly so)

I stopped sleeping at the age of 9, when I became a man.

i talk and sing to myself and become hostile randomly…basically a bipolar beeyotch
that is for 5 hrs of sleep

Only the truly obsessed people are on CC this late (12:28 saturday)

I should be asleep.

When I stay up for 18 hours straight, I get really cold, start shivering, and get a headache. I also feel dizzy.

^It’s only about 10:30 pm on the west coast.

piggy, not everyone lives in your time zone

I’m sleep-deprived about 75% of the year (maybe more), never get that much sleep during the week. I’ve gotten used to it, during last summer I slept an average max of 2.5 hours of sleep from Sunday night-Wednesday night. From Thursday night -Saturday night, I got like 8 hours of sleep.

During the school year, I got adequate sleep only on weekends. It’s a shame we all don’t get enough sleep :frowning: Now I appreciate it lol, never wanted to sleep when I was little…

I used to sleep 10 hrs/day
Due to my development of advanced procrastination techniques earlier this year, I now sleep 6-7 hours a day. More than some of my friends but I feel like a zombie every day because it’s so much less than I have done all my life. I hate it but… I can’t stop myself from staying up.

Soon, Asians will evolve into beings of pure energy that will no longer require sleep, food, or water.

^I mean ****, their eyes are barely open birth, so they can live without sleep I guess. I love asians. :]

^^ Obviously you’re a pre-evolved Asian. I already eschew these so-called ‘necessities’ in preference of doing much more important things like getting into all the Ivy League schools.

wow MattNC… just wow
also, ever heard of south asians? :P
