SNL 50 year anniversary show…tonight!

Anyone else planning to watch? I am. Starts at 8 ET on NBC with red carpet starting at 7. On Peacock too.

We are going to watch. It starts at 7 pm where we are. We don’t have Peacock, so can not start early.

I will likely go to bed before it is over, I am always up at 4:30 to 5 am to get ready for work.

Can’t wait! The music show a couple of weeks ago and repeated last night was so good!

I’m so looking forward to this!

Thanks for reminding us how old we are by realizing we watched the first season of SNL. Good times. Thanks, @thumper1.

Apparently, there was a big concert Friday night on NBC. I thought is was the music of snl show that had already been on, so I didn’t record it. It’s only on Peacock now…

The concert was supposedly fabulous.

I think it streamed on Peacock and is only available there now. Hopefully the concert will eventually make its way to NBC

I might get a Peacock 1 month subscription so I can watch the concert and also the new Bridget Jones movie, which is also on Peacock.

Tina and Amy…the best of the newer writers (and cast), in my opinion.

I still think Tina Fey did Sarah Palin better than Sarah Palin did Sarah Palin.

Eddie Murphy as Tracy Morgan in front of Tracy Morgan cannot be beat, hilarious

For anyone taping, my sister told me they announced that the show could go long.

I had extended it an hour. Hope that’s enough. It won’t let me modify end time now that it started recording.

I’ve always liked weekend update!

We are away for the weekend with 25 family members, so we are all watching, The teenagers (15-18) had interesting comments. After seeing Andy Samberg, one said, “That’s the guy from Brooklyn 99.” “That’s David Letterman, he use to have a show like Jimmy Fallon.”

And to think, I was their age when SNL first broadcasted!
