Snow....again....in the northeast

And it’s snowing again. Maybe we will hit that forecast after all.

There were a few light flickers earlier, but nothing else, knock on wood!

Stay warm and safe everyone!

Choir practice cancelled, thankfully. Shelled and poached 8 lbs of shrimp. Made 6 cups of Thai peanut sate sauce. About to attack the second half of the spanikopita phylo triangles.

Does anyone have a favorite dip for cold cooked shrimp that is not cocktail sauce? I think I’ll start a new thread.

Newsday is saying 6-as inches tomorrow night… yet another nor’easter headed our way!

That was “6-12”!!

We’re expecting around 6", but could be more or less depending on the track of the storm. February’s weather was easier to take than March’s is turning out to be.

8 to 14 more inches predicted Tuesday. Yay!

“8 to 14 more inches predicted Tuesday.”

Ugh. I hit “helpful” because there wasn’t a button for “no, please no, it can’t be true”.

We will have to see what falls down this time.

I love snow.

Please don’t affect D’s flight on Tuesday

I love snow too. I just want it to be over by early March. I want a REAL spring and not a spring into summer from winter!!

@morrismm I always say that I love winter, but I like it to happen IN winter. After 20 years in Maine, one would think that I would have grown accustomed to the fact that March IS winter here. At best, it is part of the dreaded Mud Season.

I’m in the NW corner of CT. We are supposed to get the smaller amount of snow… up the forecasters are all over the place on what that will be…maybe 3-6 inches…oh but maybe some areas will get more.

Seems like the CT shore is going to get hit harder as will Boston, Cape Cod…and points north.

I’m sick of it…but it IS still winter…and it is New England…so this is to be expected!

70s here in Savannah with flowering trees and azaleas. Enjoying it now, but will whine when we get into the 90s in June.

Anything is better than hot and humid. Anything.

5-22 inches for Boston, with 15 inches most likely.

Agree with @Consolation. I can’t stand hot and humid.

On average, Portland, Maine gets more snow in March than in February.

I’m in the smaller amount area as of now - but it’s still bleugh.

The way we talk about snow, I joke you’d think we’re a bunch of Floridians, caught by surprise, every year. Lol.

I’m on “spring” break so not as concerned…but i’m so over this…
