Snow...again!

Ok. I’m officially sick of this. I’m supposed to drive from Ohio to CT tomorrow, and planned to take the NY Thruway. Ah…but there is a winter weather advisory for Buffalo, and 1-3 inches forecast for the morning here.

Guess I’ll drive across Pennsylvania.

I’m beyond DONE with this weather…

But I’ll add, it’s been gorgeous here this weekend!

It was almost 80 here yesterday. Snow tonight but no one knows how much. I have been done for months.

We had a bunch of schools closed this morning because of the wind and power outages.

Snowed here in Wyoming on Saturday night after a week of stunningly gorgeous weather. 13 degrees last night but 45 today.

Can’t imagine the snow would be much of a problem in Buffalo. Probably won’t even stick on the roads.

That would be good! I do not want to drive on snow…or through snow!

Snow? looks outside looks at computer screen :open_mouth:

This is near unfathomable to me.

Ugh, the drive across PA is one of my least favorite. Hang in there and get home safely!

How many times did we say “snow….again!” this winter? I lost the count long ago. Birds were going nuts with the warm weather here. I am sorry for them.

It’s snowing here in Northern Michigan today. Nothing sticking though. I would imagine it would be the same in Buffalo.

“Ugh, the drive across PA is one of my least favorite.”

I can dig it but the ride across NY isn’t exactly a peach!

The rides across NY and PA are…LONG. But I have to do one or the other.

At this point, I’ll make my decision at 9:30 tomorrow morning when I have to leave.

Got a good bit in our area, just as my forsythia was starting to bloom. Darn it! Local schools had a snow day but our sons are out of district, so they had to go. Be careful.

We just had WIND. The windiest wind I’ve ever seen. My power has been out all day. :frowning: Charging up my phone and ipod at work, going to plug my elliptical into the battery backup for the computer when we get home… we really need to get a generator. Fiance missed work this morning because he had to drive our food to my mom’s so it wouldn’t spoil. This is turning out to be the one big drag about the neighborhood we chose, the power is knocked out easily, and when it’s out it’s out for tens of thousands and takes days to fix. :frowning: I am NOT accustomed to this lifestyle.

It snowed here this morning. Has been hovering around freezing all day. Apparently we’re in for more of the same tomorrow. And we were in the 60s on Saturday. Winter just won’t quit.

It’s 75 today in west-central NH and then going down to the 30s on Wednesday with rain ending as snow. Oh yes, I’m so done with snow!

Thumper, I just watched one of the Buffalo stations’ forecast. Rain through the night, with temps dropping (have already dropped 20 degrees from lunchtime) and there may be some freezing rain before it turns to snow midmorning tomorrow. That may be more of a concern than any snow accumulation. The weather guy said that no area should get much more than 4 inches of accumulation, although he did say that it could possibly be higher along the Erie - Fredonia route, always the worst. Safe travels.

Snowing here in Chicagoland. And it’s sticking on the grass, but not the pavement. My WeatherBug says it’s 32° right now. Supposed to get into the low 40s tomorrow, so it will melt.

Passover blizzard! Not what you expect in mid-April. Waiting for my family to arrive for seder; SIL isn’t even home from work, and then it will take them about another hour to pick up Mom and drive down. Guess I’ll put my feet up and wait.

I remember a later April Easter around 30 years ago when we had about three inches of snow, that stuck on the ground. I think because it happened the year after we moved to the midwest from Texas, I just assumed that it was expected to snow in April, so it never really surprises me.

Thanks always mom…the drive across PA is sounding like a better choice…temps well above freezing.
