Snow...again!

Oh my - our car was a “car-cicle” this morning. The rain turned to ice which turned to snow so we had to chisel out. We had about two inches on the ground that I hope will melt. Maybe not today - it’s still just about 31 - but hopefully tomorrow? Crazy to think we had dinner on the deck on Monday night and it was 75 degrees!

Snow here is already melting quickly. Anyplace that got morning snow it is completely gone. Afternoon sun should take care of the rest.

count me as one of the ice-chisilers before I could drive this morning. hard to believe it was 80 degrees 3 days ago!

We’ve done four spring break college visits in the mid-Atlantic area since Saturday. Saturday, sunny and sparklingly fresh perfect weather to fall in love with a college. Monday partly cloudy and humid, becoming windy and cloudy, with temperatures steadily dropping all day. Perfect day to realize just how big the university is, as we added layers while walking and walking. Tuesday a deluge of cold rain while driving both there and back, cloudy, cold and windy during the tour: a perfect day to cross a college off the list. Wednesday, woke to snow on the car, but sparkling clear skies. Beautiful for driving, but cool for a mid April college tour. Another perfect day to love a college.

Very glad we aren’t trying to spend this spring break at a mid-Atlantic beach.

We still have a bit of snow here and there from yesterday’s “event”. The temps haven’t risen above freezing so our front steps are a skating rink. But warming is apparently on its way - thank goodness! Plus of course we still have a fair amount of snow from the winter in the form of drifts. It really needs to go away!

All our snow was melted by early afternoon yesterday but it was quite cold last night. Had to put heavy sweater on and my boots to go out to dinner. I really thought I had put those things away for good. :frowning:

I wore my winter coat today for my lunchtime walk. Enough already! Fortunately, I hadn’t put anything away yet but I was considering it. That’ll teach me.

It was almost 70 here today and yet there are still snow patches.
Get it together, weather! :p

There was so much ice on Tuesday morning that our street was plowed. Even though it was in the. 50s today, there are still snow patches in the shady spots.

I don’t mind that…as long as it doesn’t snow…again!
