Well, they did deliver my two Weber grills, only one of which I ordered. And No, I wasn’t home to “refuse” the second one.
I’m awfully busy to take time to call them, too. :-"
So far, I’ve only looked at some laptops. $850 Asus on Jet is $999 at BestBuy, Amazon, etc.
You sure?
There is a 850 Asus on Jet that comes out to 808. And this the same price as on Amazon and several other merchants. Got be bought cheaper if taking a risk with lesser merchants:

This one is a few bucks cheaper on Jet than on Amazon

It’s the N550JK Asus and, even though it’s the same price on Amazon right now, it’s temporarily on sale.
Ok, I just got my access code today. I ordered about 11 items mostly soap, and groceries. I got 6 corelle divider dinner plates for $6. When I put my order through I was able to put in the access code for 6 months free membership.
Login (or register) and type “free6” as a promotional code in your account setting and you’ll get your free 6 month membership.
@stugace I am not sure but I think the 6 months free is for those on the waiting list. I got the email with the code this morning and just used it. When I checked out it confirmed 6 months free otherwise I think by default everyone is now getting 3 months. All the items say two day shipping so lets see if that happens.
I think it will be helpful since I don’t have Costco membership. They were selling bulking grocery items without having to pay a membership fee. The corelle plates were cheaper than the outlet which had them for $6 each. I think I saved about $25 on my purchase today. I wonder how many shipments will the 11 items come in?
I just ordered a crate for the new pup off of Amazon and decided to check Jet to see if it would be cheaper. They didn’t offer the one I bought her (a 30" one) but they offered every other size from the same brand. Then I realized that even if they had offered it, it would’ve been more expensive than Amazon’s because it didn’t hit their $35 threshold for free shipping and the price for the other ones were the same as Amazon. Plus, it couldn’t guarantee delivery by Thursday and I’d be lucky if it was here by Friday. Unfortunately I need it by this weekend.
It seems interesting though and I’ll keep my eye on Jet while (for now at least) sticking to Amazon. I will price check on Jet though if my order is going to be over $35. There are some things that must get here within 2 days and others that I can wait on if it’s cheaper.
I never received any code and I entered my email for it a week or two ago. I just heard about the “free6” thing from someone on these forums.
It does appear that everyone’s getting the first 3 months for free, but there’s not much of a selection, at least not in the electronics section.
@stugace I ordered household items that were all under $10 each just to see how Jet works. I wanted to start with small items before buying more costly things. Whatever I bought are not things I would have returned. (toothpaste, soap, health bars, bigelow tea bags, and other small grocery items. Now I don’t have to look through the sale paper for these items since I bought them in bulk size. Per unit, the items where cheaper than what I would get at the grocery store.
@raclut did these qualify under free shipping even though they were under the $35 (or did you buy enough that it was over that)? I saw that there was something about basic items getting faster shipping but I can’t seem to find that now.
@romanigypsyeyes
I purchased about $80 worth of items that came down to $50. I looked around the site. I found things that you would find in a drug store or Bed Bath & Beyond. I saw dept store cosmetics, linens, harry potter, books. Those were the depts. I looked at so it was easy to get to the $35 minimum. I won’t have to buy those items now for several months which means lighter grocery bags.
Interesting. I’ll definitely look into this site more. Thanks!
Didn’t Amazon sales on Prime Day beat any of their Black Fridays?
if only we could all flop with such success…
Just received notice early this morning that everything has been shipped. Can’t wait for the packages to arrive.
I was on their (jet’s) beta testing and now have a 1 year free membership. Haven’t purchased anything yet. Amazon’s sale left me wit a very bad taste in my mouth. Could have bought the stuff cheaper at Costco.
@jym626 I didn’t see anything worth purchasing in the amazon sale but here I felt I saved better than clipping coupons. I would have loved to have 1 year membership but I guess 6 months is not bad.
My frustration with Jet is that I’d like to compare items but they don’t tell you the sq.ft for each item. For example I would like to know if the Viva paper towels or Cottonelle TP is worth it to buy. The product info does not include how many sheets on a roll or sq ft per package or roll. So it is hard to look at the cost and determine if the price is a good one. I have sent them an email stating my problem, so we’ll see if they respond back.
@chuckledoodle I emailed help@jet.com and they responded in about an hour.
