So close to d-day

lol yeah throw that theory out the window, I wanna know!!!

Maybe they will release them on Friday the 27th so that they can close for the weekend and avoid angry phone calls…maybe…maybe

It makes sense that they would tell everyone on a Friday… I mean, that’s what U Virginia did (today). If I were an admissions counselor, I wouldn’t want all the angry phone calls. Hopefully it’s next Friday the 27th.

yeah! Hopefully it will be on Friday. But I don’t want to put that idea into my head too much. My heart will drop if nothing is in my inbox Friday.

To all of those wondering why the “application completed” date in the system keeps changing, their system updates itself nearly everyday, so the date will change. (I called and asked lol)

I just noticed the message center changed. Just an observation.
I don’t really want to wait until the 31st, the 28th seems pretty good. No one can call them for a day after they release decisions, sot that would be a good date.

wait–just out of curiosity, do people actually call in to admissions offices to protest their admission decisions? that’s hilarious!

I want the decision to be friday January 27th. Plus I am off school. Let’s goooo! People keep commenting.

Can someone please find out the exact day and time decisions will be released? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

I can’t take the wait anymore! I’m becoming an even bigger stressball by the day! I really don’t want to be admitted for spring though :frowning: so nervous an excited!!!

ahhh somebody find outttttt!!!

I’m going to DC tomorrow for a school trip, I’ll ask around. It is killing meee

Friday the 27th sounds like such a reasonable date for me. aaaah!! My first decision from college! I’m so nervous even though it’s not my number 1.

^same here! i don’t know why i’m so nervous b/c it’s not my top choice, though i think it’s partially b/c i haven’t gotten decisions for awhile and also b/c umd is the most likely school on my list to be affordable (besides my state flagship which i just really want to avoid…), so there’s a really good chance i’ll end up at umd, so i just want to know everything as soon as i can.

@crest1993, you have a chance. I have met applicants with weaker stats and lower SATs who got in. Of course, I do not know what UMD or any other college truly looks for. Hang in there  A few more days.

Im itching to hear back, its a reach and my top choice

SATM-630 SATCR-580 SATW-540
GPA:3.4 (past two years it has been a 3.7 or higher freshman year was rough)
EC-Varsity Cheer 3 seasons, Key Club, Big Brother Big Sister Program, HUH! (youth group camp), Outdoors Club, So much volunteer work, and a job

Chance?

@alexisellen
Youre in the middle 50% for math and cr, but your GPA is a bit low (upward trend is good though). It really depends if you are instate or oos

I’m out of state

Anyone know if there is a chance that we find out before the 31st?

trying to find out and politicalnerd are you a democrat or a republican?
