So what's everyone doing for the apocalypse?

Weather permitting I will be driving tomorrow. Hope I dont get hit with fireballs from the sky. I also blew my diet and ate some coconut cake today. Ya can’t take it with you.

Other plans for the mayan calendar/ end of the world tomorrow?

It’s the Dec 21 in Sydney and they are still here!

Baking cookies and going to The Hobbit. :)

I heard we’re all supposed to find someone and have, err, umm, you know, sex.

Well, this simply can’t happen…I have a mani/pedi in the morning, lunch with a friend, and a play in the evening.

This is so not in my plans…The end of the world will simply have to wait.

…and please do not tell me that dessert avoidance and working out is for naught…Pass the macaroons with a good champagne.

Friends of ours are giving a Solstice party tomorrow, so I’ll be partying. Both boys are also returning in the evening, so we’ll have to take breaks from the party to fetch them.

I don’t have to work on the day the world ends, hazaah! If it doesn’t happen too early in the day, I might splurge on a purse in some completely frivolous color, just because.

The solstice is at 6:12 ET tomorrow morning. Maybe I will skip the gym and just jump in the hot tub.

Rats. I think I’ll just try to sleep through it.

We’ll all hug each other as we watch the sunset today. Hopefully, it is not the last time. ;)

After a show’s finale tonight, off we go with our canned beans, Spam, cases of bottled water, dog food and gas masks to the bunker. Do we still get Wi-Fi in there?

I was just kidding about the bunker but I did buy some canned beans and spam just in case the apocalypse rolls out in phases. We should survive for about a month unless the walking dead crash through our glass doors and windows. :D

Well it’s my birthday. So tonight, while the apocalypse rages in Asia, I’ll have dinner. Then, in the morning, get my hair and nails done. If the world is ending, I need to be well fed and looking good (or as good as I get).

My neighbors are having an end of the world party. Figure we’ll either go out happy or wake up feeling lousy on Saturday :)

Were the Mayans in Central time or what time zone? It might make a difference. If they were in say Pacific time zone, that gives the rest of the country a few extra hours or so. We could say, have a party where those in California will still be on the way home from work, kind of a bummer to live in California during the end of the world since you have less time.

Going out for a fancy dinner and putting it on my credit card. It’s a win-win.

One of my Ds childhood friends is getting married to celebrate the occasion. An archeology major, he has planned this for a LONG time.

Sitting at my desk in my office, eating chocolate, while O Fortuna plays in a continuous loop.

much like any other day

Dinner with friends is on our agenda

My daughter is going to an end-of-the-world party, and my son is hosting one at our house - we have a big room over the garage that the boys can take over and not bother any of the rest of us.

Going to work. Tomorrow night we will decorate our Christmas trees (we have 2 trees up with lights on but no ornaments yet).

Hitting tennis balls.
