So what's everyone doing for the apocalypse?

Well happy apocalypse, everyone. What an oxymoron.

We’re all still alive and kicking…

romanigypsyeyes–well, not a lot of innocuous white guys in this country have nuclear weapons at their disposal…

Rumor has it that secret government research confirms that the Mayans were right and that the Apocalypse has already occurred. The Rapture occurred earlier today, but it’s been kept from the media because only 7 were saved – 3 dogs, two cats, a vegan and a buddhist monk. The rest of us are stuck in the hell of having to deal with one another.

Wait – is the apocalypse today? Maybe I missed it . . .

“the only thing that will hopefully happen is being inundated with tons of free-falling Mayan chocolate”

Yes!

SSDD. I put several cases of Spam and beer into my jon boat yesterday along with my flat screen tv for the flooding. I’m going to leave everything alone until New Years day just in case.

Then again…some of my Chinese and Japanese friends do feel it’s the end of the world due to the results of the recent election results in Japan…especially the newly elected prime minister who is regarded as a bit clueless and an oaf in regional diplomacy during his first stint a few years ago.

Been trying to cheer them up on FB by asking them to picture the newly elected Japanese prime minister dancing to a tune which touches his heart:

My baking has been somewhat apocalyptic today . I think the Mayans have wreaked havoc with my oven

I win again! My gift of counter-prophesy is still 100% accurate.

This is what I posted on CC last January:

"Atheists don’t lack beliefs so much as they have active counter-beliefs.

I’m not a an atheist, but I have been blessed with the gift of counter-prophesy. I can’t predict which events are going to happen. But I can, with remarkable accuracy, foretell which prophesies of are NOT going to happen.

For example, whenever some pastor makes some prophesy about the date for the end of the world, or the Rapture, or whatever, I promptly counter-prophesy and predict that the end, or Rapture, or whatever will NOT happen on the assigned date. So far my record is perfect.

With this track record of success I’m kinda surprised I haven’t attracted at least a small cult of followers.

Right now I’m putting my perfect record on the line and counter-prophesying the end of the world in Dec. 2012 based on the Mayan calendar. You heard it here first."

And the day when it isn’t, no one will be able to say “I told you so.”

Good strategy! ;)

I said nothing about “innocuous white guys”

So I guess I have to go to work today. Rats.
