So why dont YOU have a 4.0 UW gpa?

THis is for all the people that dont have a 4.0 uw gpa at their schools…

I have a 3.75 uw gpa, but they were all mostly because I was lazy and did not do the homework.

The only classes where I tried and just could not get it were in 9th grade-Geometry and AP Stats.

For the rest of my like 10 or so B s, they were due to my laziness and carelessness…

I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from being as lazy as I am…

I don’t have a 4.0 gpa because I didn’t get straight A’s.

I had a 4.0UW going into this semester…

But freaking senioriotis and all…definitely gonna drop after the grades come in lol

I went through a series of “woe is me” bouts and finally snapped out of it - when it was too late. I will have a 3.75 (hopefully) this semester with two W’s. I used to have a 4.0.

because having a 4.0 is not the purpose of life…

because i cut one class and missed one pop quiz…how do colleges look upon a 3.96? shoudl i consider a state school? please respond - im worried about this…

3 B’s in math classes.

because the humanities ======> me

I didn’t really get it in Sophomore year. Getting A’s is pretty simple, you just get the key points. Big tests, big assignments. Junior year was a 4.0 except for one class, but that couldn’t be helped. There were no points for that class. You wrote essays and talked incessantly, and you were graded on that.

Freshman year. 'Nuff said.

…and a math class debacle.

ill stick with the classic yet so often underestimated

“family problems” answer.

Because I had a teacher who was 7 feet tall, anorexic, and liked to try to bully kids by mysteriously “losing” their assignments and then make them beg for her to find them.

no point. I’m not a hedonist, but I do like to enjoy life every now and then.

plus I’m one of the most poorly organized people ever. would you believe I almost forgot to submit my common app? It was all done, I just forgot. I suddenly remembered at 8:30 PST, so I managed to get it submitted three minutes before midnight in Pennsylvania. and this morning I forgot my AP Euro assignment, so I had to rush home and get it.
stuff like this happens all the time.

Lbtg I know what you’re talking about. I almost feel I can’t use that excuse, because some people think it’s all that is, but family problems suck so much. For me, it’s seperation of my parents in late ninth grade followed by my dad saying they’re getting a divorce this year during Thanksgiving (my mom says they’re not). So I’ve struggled through my classes each year, getting A’s when I usually get B’s. I’ve never really recovered my freshman grades, though I’m trying. It all sucks.

I basically slacked off my sophomore year

b/c i have a life…naw, jk- i do have a life, but that’s not the reason…
everyone kept saying that grades and numbers were overrated (and they are) but then i figured that they didn’t matter (and they do) …and so i screwed up sophomore year…now i’m thinking about college and totally regretting my decision

wel of course because of CC

a double-whammy. what one doctor called “the worst case I’ve ever seen” of a immune system disorder and my dad being stuck in China for half a year at the height of the SARS scare.

could happen to anyone, really.

Because I didnt feel like having one! Thats why!

jk… I actually improved my algebra 2 grade by the end of the semester to an A. the rents were extremely happy.

stupid Cal grad school graduate who decided to make Calculus a “real” challenge for us…this was the first time ever that calc was taught at our school
