Society of Torch and Laurel?

Is this a legitimate organization? Is it valuable?

I’ve never heard of it…so I’m guessing, no

I got something about that in the mail. I think it’s rather elaborate marketing.

The NSCS lifetime membership fee is $95.00

Seems like a scam…

The name screams SCAM!!!

My son got the invitation yesterday. I am doing research online and it looks legitimate, especially because they don’t charge any fees or dues.

I got the same thing in the mail…

there isn’t much about it on the Internet though besides their main website…

I joined just because there are no fees and nothing that arouses suspicion, besides the fact that it’s virtually unknown. There’s no page for it on Wikipedia or any search engine, which is really rare nowadays (like jibler said). But what do you have to lose? If you’re hesitant, ask your counselor first, but mine will probably just type it into a Google search.

I feel like it’s legitimate but not valuable (considering most people don’t seem to know what it is)

Edit I made an account. No hidden fees. I entered a wrong portion of the site during my first login attempt
