Travel. So far two trips planned- Key West and Chicago. D and I are also working on a trip to Montreal.
A Bruce concert in September!
Improved health. More time to do the things I enjoy.
Other than the grands’ birthdays, I don’t have anything fun or celebratory to look forward to in 2024. Complicated taxes? Check. Uncertainty about our jobs? Check. Political turmoil? Check.
I do however look forward to 2025! Pacifichem released their list of symposia, and there are some interesting topics!
We will have two 2024 graduates (one HS and one college) in our house!
Seeing where D24 lands for college.
Our first “empty nester” travel adventure, planned for September.
2025
I’m also looking forward to seeing the Cleveland Browns playing in the playoffs! Go Browns!
A Hadrian’s Wall hike is on my bucket list! But I’ve got my daughter’s wedding to pay for this coming summer, so it will have to await another year!
As Bill Clinton used to say, “I feel your pain” – I just had a partial knee replacement myself 2 weeks ago. Good luck with your physical therapy!
We did the whole wall in 2017 and it was amazing. This trip is to take a day to play tourist and visit Housesteads and Vindolanda and then do a day hike along the wall
Our first grandchildren- identical twin boys! Although due in April, they will probably be born in March…in Copenhagen. So lots of SAS flights as well.
