As a sophomore, I will be taking Health (as an early class), Pre AP English 10, Alg II H, AP World History, Spanish II H, Chemistry H, and Driver’s Ed for 1 semester and Intro to Computer Basics the next.
I have to take that computer class for one semester because my computer credit could not be verified from my old school. Since it is a basics class, I’m afraid that colleges will see this class and think that I am slacking off this year, especially since I am only taking one AP. Is there a possibility that this could happen?
Also, many students at my school took health/driver’s ed as an online summer class that I was unable to take. Will having these required classes during the school year instead of an AP or full year elective hurt my chances?
I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Most sophomores don’t take more than one AP, if at all. Considering all your honors classes, your schedule is plenty rigorous.
IMHO, if your school does not offer any APs other than world to sophomores, I would not stress yourself over this.
