i am in honors biology now in my freshman year. next year i will be placed into honors chemistry. my teacher recommended i take a second science class as my elective but i can’t choose between AP biology and Honors Research in Molecular Genetics. the AP class is harder but my teacher said if i continue taking research throughout the rest of high school that would look super good for colleges, and i could always take the AP bio class my junior year along w physics and research 2. which one would benefit me more in the long run if i want to be a doctor?
I say that you take the research class next year. Both classes are beneficial if you want to be a doctor, however be aware that you would be taking (I’m assuming) two AP science classes junior year. Look how that works into your other classes for junior year.
