Sorority or Sport?

I have the option of playing tennis in college but I wouldn’t be able to rush! Which one should I do???

You have two options: 1) sign up for rush anyway, but communicate to panhellenic that you can’t come to a lot of the parties because of practice and games. 2) sign up for Continuous Open Bidding, which is usually held after formal recruitment. Sororities that still have spaces for members participate in this. There are no formal parties, but you might get invited to come hang out and watch a movie with members, go out for coffee etc. so they can get to know you and you know them. If they like you, you may get an invitation to join.

When you go to your freshman orientation, ask about combining sports and sorority recruitment.
Best of luck!
