<p>i’ma new senior in high school now. i played varsity soccer for 3 years, basketball for 3, and XC for 2. i think its too late to apply for any athletic scholarships for soccer… and my academic scholarship is most likely down the drain.
my freshman year sucked, my sophmore year was better, and my ap classes screwed up my grades for my juinor year. i ended up w grades on my report that my parents never seen before. :S
i took the second to last SAT in May, scored 1360, took the ACT and scored 19. basically F’s on both tests. now i’m going ot be a senior w no hope of getting into college and pursuing my dreams of being an navy officer w double majors.
i do well in class but suck at timed exams. thats not an excuse, and i need to boost up my scores. what do you guys think of my situation??</p>

yea, iknow that i can retake them…just, i’m sweatin it cuz i’m not that good at comprehending english:S english is my second language. i took AP english only to show my freshman honors teacher (the same ap teacher) that i can do better than what i did inhis class freshman year. i’m sweatin it because our counselor at our school wants us to give him our college applications before november or something, and i think the SAT i can take before that is the October one. and i’ve only taken the SAT and ACT once before. i dont htink i’ll see a great change in my score right away. i have a SAT study guide. do you think that’d help?</p>

<p>Get SAT review books and study your butt off this summer. Then retake in Oct.</p>
<p>Also, make sure you’re not slacking off in the caliber of classes that you’re taking. (Don’t take all electives.)</p>

thanks. i got the studyguide thing made by collegeboard. so i’m all set on the stuff. its just hard doing it. i guess the summer and durin the school year will be ok right? have you taken both? the sat and act? i thought the ACT was easier. but i ran out of time. like i didnt judge my time right. so i gotta wokr on that.</p>
