When I click your link I just get MY top songs of 2023 - cause I’m always signed into Spotify.
Shoot, I don’t know how to fix that. If you figure out a way, please let me know! On my PC laptop, I don’t use the Spotify app, just a tab on Chrome.
Spotify is terrible. If you use it much please be sure to buy concert tickets or merch from your favorite artists too (unless they are already wealthy beyond measure – looking at you T Swift, etc). It has an absolutely awful payout to non major label artists. Much worse than Apple Music or others like Tidal.
For the record I have friends who are professional musicians – they make a comfortable middle class living playing live and releasing albums and don’t have any day jobs. They are not fans of Spotify. YouTube is also very awful at payouts to artists. Bandcamp is the best.
I know many feel that way about Spotify. Also about ITunes.
For the record (pun!) I also support Bandcamp with $$ because my nephew is a musician and uses Bandcamp for a platform.
@oldmom4896 it may just be because I’m signed in that I can’t see yours. On the app there is a share button - did you use that? I just screenshot a couple things when our family was sharing.
