<p>I finished my lease agreement paperwork… And come to find out I will be kicked out on July 31, 2015, because they already leased it to another student… I don’t understand why they’re doing this to me since they will be getting the same amount of money from each of us. </p>
<p>@Kooplar246, but by January 2nd, it will probably be too late to accept causse there won’t be enough time to accept, right?</p>
<p>Judging by last years thread the people that had to wait to get 30 hours and those that appealed didn’t hear back until January 8-10. It’s hard to say anything beyond that because it’s clear that many people that post on these threads disappear once they get their results and don’t inform the rest of us. Hopefully more people check back in here once they find out, it’s very helpful for future transfer students in future semesters. </p>

<p>Well no admission officers work over break and nothing is automated, so either Friday or then Jan 2nd. Classes start Jan 20 so I would say it’s possible to still get accepted even after orientation which is Jan 12</p>
<p>If we dont get accepted by the end of next week, how will we have enough time to find housing and all that stuff and register for the classes we need? won’t it be too late? I am an OOS student so housing is trickier for me. I already got into UIUC, maybe i should just forget UT, this is making it really hard…</p>
<p>I know my school sent my final transcript about a week ago but UT direct still says they don’t have them. Sent them again today. </p>
<p>And as for housing, I am having the worst time finding anything for a female sophomore. Even on craigslist. </p>

<p>@Longhorns061012 I’m not sure that you can get accepted after January 12, 2015. It is mandatory that you attend orientation, or they won’t let you register. I’m not sure if I am correct, but reading through the “After admission” pages on utexas.edu that’s what I interpretted it as. </p>

<p>The break starts Friday but orientation is only mandatory for freshmen in spring, not transfers. As long as you see an advisor register for classes and pay for tuition, you’re fine. And honestly all that can happen in one day </p>

<p>You guys should know that regardless of how early a person was accepted, none of the Spring 2015 admitted students are able to sign up until Jan 12 2015, which is orientation day. </p>

<p>Called them again a while ago and I tried to ask them if we would hear anything during the break and they just beat around the bush about it. The lady said basically that there is no, “reason to their rhyme” about why this is going on for so long. But she did say that just because you haven’t heard yet does not mean you should lose hope. Also she has said that a couple rejections have gone out. </p>
<p>GAHHHHHHHHH WHYYYYYY. This is so frustrating. Im just gonna forget about this over the break. But I can’t because I need to look for a place to freaking live in a time span of what will probably be 2 weeks. I feel so sorry for you @arkarind :(</p>
