If any out of state students have heard anything this week, you should definitely say something?
I applied for McCombs transfer and I’ve been in review for months now
So I’ve heard. I didn’t take any foreign language classes at UTA which I sorta regret now that I think about it. It would make sense for me to take Spanish since that’s what I did in high school. (I can still speak basic Spanish and pick up bits and pieces when people around me are speaking Spanish) However I only took Spanish in high school because my school got rid of French and Spanish was the only option lol
Now I have the opportunity to chose from numerous languages which makes me want to just start over and chose something else.
I was accepted into mathematics a few weeks ago, just found this thread. 3.7 GPA, 37 hours I think. Trying to find affordable housing this late in the game Is a nightmare @-)

Not sure if this will really help anyone but for the CAP kids still waiting on COLA here is what my time line looked like (I was first choice English second choice COLA undeclared)
-Finished Class May 6th
-Transcript sent May 10th *this is where things get screwy, as one of my professors put in my final grade as a B instead of an A putting me below 3.2 so I had to contact the professor and have it changed. I also contacted my UT admissions rep for my city (Houston) who emailed my back with instructions on how to handle everything.
-Updated transcript sent May 18th
-Contacted admissions rep again to check on everything, was given the thumbs up May 25th
-Changed to “In review” June 3rd
-Accepted June 6th
I very much doubt the fact that I contacted admissions or the abnormality of my case sped or slowed the time waiting but it may have made a small difference. Other CAP kids, when did your transcript get sent?
@SailorVenus mine was received on May 18th. What UT system school did you attend? Maybe that’s how they are approaching it??
@techfan741 I went to Tyler. Where did you go? That could be true but if it were say, alphabetical Arlington would be first, and that seems a more popular campus than Tyler.
@Sailorvenus27 maybe they’re doing the smaller campuses first. because they know UTA and UTSA will take the longest time or maybe each school has its own dedicated team. They got mine on the 25 and I went into review the 27

I’m in review now as well! They updated it at around 9:00pm Austin time, so I guess they’re working longer hours leading up to their self-proclaimed “deadline”
I submitted my application back in January…still waiting
