It’s all good guys. Remember to take everything we hear with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinions on how things work and that is okay. Never let anyone bring down your self confidence or your pride in every grade that you struggled to get. At the end of the day it is not the opinions of all those people that count, just what admission decides. And honestly even if we get denials, that still doesn’t take away from what we have all worked so hard for. Everyone on this thread cares enough to go for what we want. We care enough to take the time and do our best. That alone should say something in and of itself. So lets just keep things positive and encourage each other. Choose JOY! <3
I think maybe eaglemom is talking about transferring to UT from Highschool. Well for external transfer from a college to UT they just look at the letter grade. I think most people here are for external transfer thread. Update us.
UT housing just sent an email about housing being at capacity, and how I should probably find off campus options, but I dont even know if I’m in or not, stress is real…
So I just got an email from housing… Basically I need to find of campus housing asap
I have this to worry about and my application is still “complete”
Also I have no idea when I will have to pay the $200n deposit hopefully it’s after I get paid.

You should still have time to pay the deposit. I think I paid mine 6/23?
@DestineeMoreh did you call admissions about your application still saying complete?
@DestineeMoreh Said the deposit had to be paid by the 12th but it probably just gives you a week from your acceptance to pay it. Try the UT transfer facebook page, they have a housing guide plus a lot of people looking for roommates.
I did my housing application in November of last year so hopefully that helps. I actually want to live in campus apartments or somethig cheap so I don’t have to bartend to survive and I could focus on school.

You guys admissions is piking up the pace just a but. A CAP student I went to school with said her admission status went to review and then a few hours later she was accepted to COLA

Let’s try to look at this as glass half full… Those of us who don’t know yet… think of it as, at least they’re STILL considering us. There’s obviously something there they like, or we would have been in the no pile long ago Stay positive, this is tough. But, it could all be worth it in 2 weeks
