@cjr1234 Correct. It’s best to get everything out of the way (LOR’s, essays, resume, etc.) and pre-order your spring transcript so that they are sent to UT right away. I mean you could try to send in your fall transcript but they’ll just list it as ‘incomplete’ until they get your spring grades.
Sunday is my bday. I can’t decide if I want to know by then. If I don’t get into RTF i’ll probably just eat some Ben n Jerrys and watch Scrubs. If I do get in, then I’m buying a burnt orange cake!

one of the admission person was so mean. I called the office like few months ago and she was like giving ambigous informations

@EaglesThunder35 3.66, Mechanical Engineering. My GPA is not impressive so I’m just waiting for my acceptance to COLA Undeclared.
I’m 28 right now but depending on when I get a decision I might be 29 XD lol.

Hey guys so I just got accepted to COLA-Governmemt which was my first choice (International relation was my second choice major) I was a CAP student at UTA so there’s that if there is any questions I can answer please let me know. Also you have 7 days to pay your enrollment deposit once you get accepted. I have until Next Thursday the 16th A friend of mine got in June 5th and he has until June 12th to pay the deposit.
I checked Mystatus around 4:30pm I went int9 review last night around the 8:00 hour. The only reason why I figured I would get in today is because another CAP student from UTA got in with the same major as me.

GUYS! I just got my acceptance into my first choice school!! College of Communications Journalism!!! I never knew this day would come! I can’t believe it.
Went to HS in Austin and got CAP when I applied the first time around. I decided to go to the university of Colorado my freshman year and had… not very good grades - 3.1 and 2.9.
Sophomore year (fall 2015) I worked a part time job, I was living in for my sorority, and pulled my GPA up with 16 credits + lab to a 3.6. Wrote a lot about issues I went through freshman year in my essays. 0 LOR.
I’m from Austin so I went to ACC this last semester (spring 2016) when I transferred home due to financial issues. I got a 4.0 with 10 credits while working full time as a shift leader at my job (I’m 19 so maybe they took that into consideration too). I sent in my transcript to admissions even though I heard somewhere that they didn’t look at spring grades (I don’t remember where from though!)
Seriously guys I had no idea I would have a chance at being accepted but I think my less than stellar stats prove that they do look at applications holistically! I was so negative about this whole thing so take it from me just try to be positive and hope for the best! Good luck everyone

HOLY MOLY, guys I just got accepted into Moody for RTF, I’m actually shaking right now I was so nervous I didnt think I was going to get in.
I was a CAP student at UT Tyler, my gpa was a 3.8, 30 hrs, 2 LOR, 2 essays and a resume with work I had done in high school related to this field. I’m actually surprised I got in. I had been checking mystatus frequently and I just decided to look at it a few minutes ago and boom!
