So… hubby talked to admissions today. What we got from the call was that they can’t tell you anything about your application, if they did it wouldn’t be a holistic review. But, they did say it was NOT his prereqs, if there is an issue with prereqs, it will say so on your mystatus. One thing that made him feel a little better was that they only accepted 8% of out of state applicants this semester… so basically that’s the equivalent to applying to Sandford or something lol No biggie, he is going to ACC next semester and will increase the rigor of his coursework, then be in state for UT next semester 
I’m thinking CNS will be one of the last

Some people have asked about COLA-Govt Acceptance.
My GPA is a 4.0 with a bunch of extracurricular activities.
@mintpopsicles @Clintonwk I’m pretty sure if you’re rejected from your first choice, you don’t hear back until your 2nd choice is made.
What if your first choice doesn’t decide until way later and your second choice already made a decision? Or is that not how it works?
That’s what I was wondering. COLA is releasing decisions and that’s my second choice. CNS first.
I hope McCombs would release their decisions by this month. Are they going to look at my grades in the spring semester before they release their decisions?
@HoiCheung From what I have heard, they make a decision on your grades now if you have 30+ hours. If you have under 30 hours, they will ask for your Spring grades before making a decision.
Same here my first choice is CNS and second choice is cockrell. And cockrell is sending out the decision but no news about sluggish CNS!!

Not a lot of extracurriculars, i worked a 40 hr/week job last year and i’m really only an active member of my poetry club (it’s a small school) and i had an ad internship last summer
my essay’s were checked over by lots of people and i was told they are very strong
