St. Andrews/W&M Program

I am currently finishing up my supplement for William and Mary and am interested in applying for the joint program. I had a question, but the Office of Admissions is out until January 3rd. Can anyone tell me: if you are accepted to the joint degree program, is it binding? I would like to have the option to pursue this, but if something came up I would also like the option of declining. If accepted, am I obligated?

Does it say it is binding in any of the material? I looked quickly and I didn't see anything that said it was...

No worries, SWVA Applicant. We're checking CC and our general office email once a day while the College is closed.

If you're admitted to the Joint Degree Programme it is not binding. Like other offers of admission you have to commit to it or not by May 1 but if admitted you are not required to accept that offer of admission.

So if I were to be accepted to both the Joint Programme and to W&M and I decided not to pursue the Joint Programme, I could decline that offer and still attend W&M as long as I made the decision by May?

Yes, you will recieve one decision for W&M alone and one for the Joint Degree Programme. You will have until May 1 to accept or decline either offer.

Very good. Thank you so much!
