@NOVA2024 Best of luck to your son! My D16 sounds similar but was interested in STEM/Theater double. She ended up choosing St Olaf for the math department (and getting the Buntrock was a big draw too). STEM at St Olaf has been really great for her, in fact she dropped theater and added physics to her math degree. Lots of opportunity for (paid) research with faculty and study abroad in math & physics. She’s about to start her last semester (which is really hard to wrap my head around!)

Ed2 decisions were released today (January 29th) around 5pm. Email was sent notifying application change and to check portal. Also received a text from admissions counselor to check portal.

D (RD applicant) got an email today about the poll from last week. It said decisions expected early March. I don’t know if that’s a gentle way of saying she’s not a likely scholarship candidate or if everyone received the email. Not sure she’s even in the running for a Buntrock invitation with 34 ACT and 3.8 UW but after reading here about early notification about some scholarships in the past, we’ve been curious enough to check the portal occasionally just in case. Her portal hasn’t changed at all.
