Pop the corks, folks. We’ve done it.

anyway on to victory business

EDIT THIS

Dear ______,

The Yale Admissions Committee has completed its evaluation of this year’s SCEA CCers, and I write with sincere regret to say that you have just lost the Yale/Stanford CC wars.

I realize that this decision may come as a real disappointment. I also hope that you will understand that this decision is a direct reflection of your unextrordinary talent represented in your abysmal defeat in the SECA thread post count wars between Yale and Stanford. Of the more than nineteen thousand individuals who applied to Yale, you lot are the worst. The least capable of doing successful work and making a unique contribution to the Yale community,

You may be tempted to ask what was lacking in your application. In truth your fatal flaw was your lack of dedication to upholding Yale’s time honored tradition of winning the SECA Yale/Stanford post count wars. Its a shame you lot tarnished Yale’s name by applying, when so many applicants have demonstrated real achievement and potential for the future. Even if we had far more spaces avalable the small number of spaces available our decision of rejecting you all would have been easy

While not regretting that we were not able to respond positively to your interest in Yale, I want to wish you failure in your every life-pursuit. Experience suggests that regardless of our decisions, most of our candidates will be welcomed by other outstanding colleges. Its a pity we contacted each of them to deny you all admittance…

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Brenzel
Dean of Undergraduate Admissions

Well, that was fun! See you guys tomorrow.

They think this is a “sad competition.”

I say we unleash the letters.

Maybe we should just respond to their allegations that we are “sad?”

We woonnnnnnnnn!!!

Woohoo!!

and yeah… they found out

Umm… you guys. I left Friday morning and got home this afternoon. When I left there were 780-something responses to this thread, and now there are over 2000. WHAT HAPPENED?

PS haha Yale

only one of us should respond so we dont give them un-due assistance

Pft they think we’re sad

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty darn happy :)

I love you all so much. :)

their thread is sad. Like not sad pathetic, sad depressing

I elect Starmie to break the news to them.
And be condescending because they called us “sad” which was totally unnecessary. :(

Well, I think that in the end, it was really just about having fun and getting to know each other better. Nothing “sad” in that.

Honestly, I find their lack of community to be much sadder.

HAHAHAH. STARMIE DID IT!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/719446-2014-scea-hopefuls-152.html
