Stanford 2014 SCEAers

some of them are a touch suggestive but no where near inappropriate and I’m fairly conservative and don’t think they are that bad but I want people to be ok with it?

SNOWY i understand you. I never study for tests, yet manage to pull off a decent grade (: plus there’s extra generous teachers with extra credit. BUT i have an essay tomorrow and i’m really not prepared to write it…

@ezak: maybe not stronger… honestly, the more I think back to my app, the worse I feel about it. At this point I’ve thought about it a lot and I’m expecting a rejection email.

Since distance equals velocity x time, let’s let velocity and time approach infinity, because I want to go all the way with you.
let me integrate our curves so that i can increase our volume
i’m not being obtuse, but you’re acute girl.
if i were a function you would be my asymptote - i always tend towards you.
let’s take each other to the limit to see if we converge
i wish i were a derivative so i could lie tangent to your curves.

PS: Yeah I don’t study for tests much either, but my AP chem teacher this year actually coutns hmk for a grade!?!?!? I liked my AP Physics teacher last year since he didn’t really grade hmk.

Oh and a word of advice, you probably don’t want to try these on a Stanford or MIT girl, then again they might like you for your creativity and no I didn’t make these up.

jony don’t say that until you really know! i feel like i improved my essays A LOT considering i wrote my ones for stanford a couple days before they were due and just recycled. edited a bunch. but yeah. brb guys (: i’ll be back…not doing hamlet…

oh oh. i was so happy. i got an 8 on my 12th night essay. it made me sooo happy. sigh. and yeah. even though i procrastinate i pull of decent grades on test so ive never mangaed to learn how to study. i’m going to fail at college when things get harder and not studying won’t work.

Nitro’s total number of posts have increased dramatically since I first came on this site. I just noticed that he has like 700 posts and relative to what I see around me that’s a lot. Congrats for participation Nitro!

Hahaha, nice.

*
“I wish I was a helicase so I could unzip your genes.”
*

Biology joke. Bad, I know. Haha.

Snowy do you mean the book night or Knight, it’s the Jewish one I don’t know how to spell the title? We read that next week.

and jony. MY APP WAS TERRIBLE.i don’t even know why im applying. im so averageeeeee

no. shakepeare. 12th night. it’s british lit. night is elie weisel or whoever. that’s different and it’s american lit. why are you reading that this year. we read it last year

OMG I liked the helicase one, darn I actually make that up in AP bio sophomore year but I guess it wasn’t original. That’s a terrible feeling when your idea wasn’t as original as you thougt it was.

Apparently our American lit teacher junior year didn’t cover it, so our AP teacher is cramming some books that wasn’t covered our previous year.

@ diivo, yeah it feels pretty bad. it makes you feel dumb. like how you feel when you fail a test someone not too smart aced.

Snowy how are you average?!?!? Didn’t you say you did research at nih, you have just as much of a chance as me or Prussia or Starmie, or Nitro, or anyone. I really liked my app, except for my 740s subject tests and my 32 ACT, the only factors that make me feel like I’m not good enough.

well. my scores are on the low end. i got a 2270 didn’t retake and my subject tests are bad. really bad. gahhh. in general my scores are on the low end . and i don’t find myec’s particularly strong either.

Darn it I’m normally REALLY good at tests, but those tests made me feel like an ignoramus. I don’t think standardized tests alone are the sole indicator of ability and intelligence and I guess you guys can say that I’m only saying this cuz my score are low but still!

PS: sorry those tests just strike a nerve with me.

Maybe you’re just a prodigal comedy phenomenon, and your profoundly innovative joke spread rapidly across the world on merit of its sheer brilliance, eventually making its way to me.
You can’t jump to conclusions like that, man. Self-doubt killed the cat.

that’s exactly how i feel. somehow im a terrible standardized test taker, and no, it’s not an excuse for my low scores either.sigh.seriosuly. sometimes i just feel like w/e i’ll go to umd, i’m so tried of all this.
