<p>I submitted mine on the 21st, I believe. Rolling would be awesome. But in 9 days it won’t matter! What are you guys planning on doing that day? I feel like going to dinner and then getting a denial would make dinner kind of inappropriate haha. But I don’t want to just stare at my phone (I have email on my phone) all night</p>

<p>I wanted to submit a research paper, but Stanford doesn’t take them. It’s fine though because I talked about my research a lot.</p>
<p>I’m afraid I submitted mine too early. Since they review in order of the submissions, mine is most likely one of the first, so I don’t want them to be like “Oh, she’s pretty good, but I bet we’ll find someone better later on.”</p>

<p>i’m gonna pray haha. nah. I’m going to call my best friends if it’s good news, and my brother either way. Then a facebook update to commemorate the moment of course!! AND THEN JUMPING UP AND DOWN ON MY BED… then I was thinking of making a shirt that says “STANFORD BABY!!” … hey I’ll be proud. plan on proclaiming it. Also, going to make some cupcakes and hand made cards to give to my counselor and teachers who wrote recs.
if I don’t get in… get started on other apps… and find out if there was anything specific that put me out of the running.</p>

<p>oh god, I should not have looked at last years decision thread, like everyone got rejected.</p>
<p>Yeah, these last few days are brutal. This is probably the first time in my life that I’ve wanted weekends to go by quickly and was looking forward to a Tuesday.</p>
<p>Yeah, a ton of people who were amazing got rejected. It kind of sucks to be so amazing and still not get in. I guess this just means that being accepted will feel even better for those who are accepted :)</p>

<p>Since everyone is kind of stressed, I just remembered that the Harry Potter movies have been on TV all weekend (sorry but I don’t remember the channel). I think we all need to take a few hours off and escape to Hogwarts.</p>
<p>Sorry, but I’m a huge sucker for wonderful movie sagas like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc.</p>
<p>Oh gosh. That’s right after school. I will run to the mediatech room, log on, and stare at the screen furiously, hoping for an email to pop up. Then when I find out the decision, I will either scream with happiness and run around the room in circles or think to myself “at least I tried” and move on with my life.</p>
