Thank you for your response, too, @dudewhatsup! I’m just really anxious and scared about not getting into Stanford! What part of Florida are you from? I’m from Orlando, FL.
Hi, again, guys!
Stanford is not listed in my College Board’s IDOC list as one of the colleges that collect additional documents, such as federal tax returns; however, according to the Stanford’s website, the Office of Financial Aid does count on IDOC to collect these forms. Is anybody else experiencing this problem? I’m very worried about this! Does this mean I am already rejected? Someone reply and enlighten me, please! Thank you! :’-(

@Visionary123 Yeah I’m experiencing the same thing as well. I don’t know why this is happening, but I highly doubt it’s indicative of our admissions status’.
@visionary123 RELAX! Stanford is everyone’s dream school but having a stress attack on every small thing won’t help you get in. Stop taking every small sign and turning it into a rejection. Just email them. I’m sure everything is fine
Thank you for your response, @Suithiopia97. I emailed the Financial Aid Office this afternoon and still am waiting to hear back from them. I’ll keep you posted.
Thank you for your response, too, @dudewhatsup, I really appreciate it. I know I need to relax, but it’s just too hard. As I said to @Suithiopia97, I already emailed the Financial Aid Office, and am waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully, everything is fine. Thank you, again.
Hey guys , when i check my app status - it says SAT/ACT scores not processed. Do any of you have the same status?
@SummerSnowman23 when did you send your scores in? If you sent it in the past two weeks, they might still need some time to process them.
@dudewhatsup I sent them in the last week of december. It’s been around 6 weeks.
@SummerSnowman23 I’d definitely contact them if it’s been that long. Typically they move things pretty quickly and get it done within 2 weeks.
Stopping by to wish everyone good luck in the coming months. I just received my interview invitation for this Friday (the 13th… great).
Also, does anyone know if Stanford sends likely letters to non-athlete applicants (STEM-oriented URM in my case), and if so, around when? A guy can hope, right?
@dudewhatsup ok,thanks for helping out!
So I got new SAT scores in today, single sitting jumped from 2210 to 2380…I’m obviously sending it in, but do you guys think it will help significantly? Its the fourth time I took the SAT, but this one time is so much better I’m hoping they won’t care as much.
Congrats on the score increase @soccerlover17 ! I’m not sure how much of a difference it will make, as we know that Stanford is one of those schools where your score does not solely make the application. But it can only help tho
Hey Guys! RD expat applicant here - only 46 days to go!
@Visionary123 I’m an REA admit this year, and I can confirm thay Stanford does want forms through IDOC, though they informed me a while after I got accepted. I wouldn’t worry about it meaning you got rejected. It’s likely some clerical error.

RD applicant here too! I’m already so freaking nervous. Just a side note: @emenya I think you’re really awesome bro. Although I didn’t apply REA to Stanford, your motivational speech gave me a huge confidence boost for the RD round. Just wanted to say thanks!
@stilchs4 Whoa! 46 days?? Starts rocking back and forth
@fdizzle I’m glad to have helped! It was no big deal really lol. I appreciate you saying thanks. Actually, I’ve been nervous since October lol. You’ve officially joined the train with the rest of us haha
@ahawkins I have a friend who just received a likely letter from Stanford. He’s kind of a math genius, but he’s certainly not an URM, so not quite sure what else contributed to that.
