I’d pick Stanford over berkeley simply because I like the location better and smaller class sizes

rejected from usc and basically all the good UC’s so idk why I’m holding out hope for stanford lol the heart wants what it wants i guess

@nativeamerikat No, you’re just in time for the “I’m panicking” posts to start lol. I’ve been through several of these now, and the funnest stage is when our nerves fray and we start reading into small things( “the url looks different”, “I refreshed my page and I SWEAR the margins changed from 1 inch to 1.1 inches”, and at 3:00:38 “it’s been 38 seconds and I haven’t received my decision so that must mean they rejected me” and of course the “OMG THE WAIT IS KILLING ME”). So hang around. It gets fun :stuckouttonguewinkingeye:

@InfinityMan Hahaha the margins :3 The scariest part is when everyone starts dropping like flies one by one, and you’re just waiting for your email to come, but you’re too scared to check because everyone is like “rejected brb crying”

Does anyone else freak out when they are rejected or waitlisted to schools much worse than Stanford?
@nativeamerikat Yes! The worst is when you see the first line of the email next to the subject line before you open it and it says “Thank you for the interest in XY College” and you just die a bit inside lol

@InfinityMan When I got rejected from NYU last night, it was during the first wave of rejections and waitlists, and I saw “New York University Admissions Office” and I literally covered my mouth and whispered to myself “…oh no…”
It was pretty dramatic.

@tdub365 oh yes! i try to comfort myself by saying that those other schools that i was rejected from didn’t have holistic admissions and that my financial needs were a huge factor in the decisions…it doesn’t really help tho and probably isn’t that true but it’s good at keeping me saneish and less stressed outish ish ish
