@nativeamerikat Don’t lose hope yourself! You may have been overqualified for NYU, but Stanford may be a right fit. Nice cupcakes by the way.

Got rejected by Duke after being deferred, but I got into UCLA and Berkeley 
I think my Stanford essays were by far my best, but the miniscule acceptance rate is really killing my vibe here haha Fingers crossed, but at least I have Berkeley!
Berkeley is better than Stanford, especially if your in state
@jasonkos Accpeted at Duke Uchicago Upenn Grinnell but rejected at Trintiy College Rhodes College UDenver and Notre Dame so yeah 
I scored more than 99.5% of there applicants
Good luck. My 2 cents on Berkeley vs Stanford: if you qualify for enough financial aid so that they cost about the same, or if your parents have enough saved up to pay for Stanford, pick Stanford. If money is an issue at all, pick Berkeley. No point in taking on a lot of loans or dipping into the retirement fund for Stanford over Berkeley.

No chance for Stanford here, silly me forgot to send my new SAT scores so if I do get an acceptance email I’ll make sure to email their IT guys immediately to tell then about their software malfunction…

@Gradient I’m from Miami haha pretty far away from Cali! I’m liking Stanford a little more, just from the private university angle. I’d be ecstatic with either though, don’t get me wrong!
Do not go to Stanford, unless you are VERY abnormal.
