@tamales I don’t know yet. Got the FA award and it’s awful so I don’t know. Went from high to low very quickly.
Could someone please let me know where I can access my SUNetID? Is it the “Stanford ID” number found in the acceptance letter below the applicant’s name? Thank you in advance.
ok… my FA is AWFUL like x4 my public schools estimate (and that public school gave me an number that was way beyond my efc). i qualify for a pell grant and a cal grant. like… i just wasn’t expecting that number. yikes. same situation as @mountaingoats. stressed lol.
(@cuscatleco12: yeah its the one on ur acceptance letter above ur name i think. it’s not ur sunetid but u use the stanford ID to create ur own sunetid username thing)
Is there a human being out there who got off the wait list?
Not sure about last year, but 2014 it was like 1%~? (7 people), and 2012-2013 was 0 both years LOL gg
But then again Stanford cut down on the # of people admitted this year (cuz of higher yield rate from last year), so technically we have better chances??? Not really…
This is kind of dumb question, but does Stanford send a shirt in the mail if you are accepted like some ivies?
@APersonsHistory Stanford sends a tree sapling in the mail.
They haven’t in the past, but they do give them out at admit weekend. They also give out shirts all throughout the year for various events. After a year and a half, d has more than she can fit in her closet!
They do send a few little items in the admit package though.
Everyone can have my tree if I get in off the wait list.
i got in!!!
congrats
Anyone else’s account say “no award letters to view”?
It has been 24 hours and the student tab is there - as is a link to “view financial aid” and a place to click to see the aid - but that page says there is no award letter (definitely asked for aid and fafsa, css, and idoc all done in early Feb)
Rejected after being deferred REA. It feels much more miserable than I thought it’d be, but I know I couldn’t have worked harder.
I was really bored and calculated the %Acceptance for the RD applicants… 3.6%! That’s really insane.
REA: 7822 applicants, 745 admitted, 701 deferred
Total: 43,997 applicants, 2063 admitted
RD : 36876 applicants (including 701 REA Deferred), 1318 admitted
For those admitted, is anyone able to see their financial aid? mine says “no award letters to view”
@collegeasker12 I could. Let me log in again and see if I can help you.
Oh you got all the way there on axess and it said that? I’d say call admissions on Monday.
@APersonsHistory Yeah, that’s what it said, I think I’ll just call on monday, thanks for your help!
Accepted to Stanford, waitlisted at Case Western XD XD XD XD XD Looking forward to seeing all you guys on campus! Go trees!
