I see on the 2019 profile that some people with less than 600s on each section of the SAT get in. And people with low gpa’s too. Not sure of the situation or applicants circumstances though
Its totally possibly. Stanford looks for personality more. They don’t have to worry about people’s qualifications most the time its more about are they going to be a right fit for the school.
In our high school we are not even encouraged to take SAT subject tests. Maybe that is why a record number of our students are getting turned down from Ivys and Vandy???
@kittymom1102 Can you stop spreading misinformation to rile up students? Thanks. Not everyone admitted at top schools is a child prodigy.
Lol tbh I wonder what kind of personality. I got in with a LL but I don’t know what the committee saw in me.
lol I’m so nervous
@RoadtotheIvies98 That could work on your favor or disfavor. If you are an impressive applicant with top scores, you could standout in the crowd. Good Luck!
Just got rejected from Amherst! (But got into Williams with full aid ?!?!?) therefore guys everything is a crapshoot and not sending in SAT2s doesnt mean you won’t get accepted, especially if ur URM or paying full tuition #havehope
I think Standford has the most holistic approach to applications. So don’t worry about it
@Marcelleparcelle Hey, if you got it, flaunt it ! ! ! !
How unique is it? I don’t know. I personally know a couple of people who have performed in Carnegie as well. You got nothing to lose
I’ve been so depressed the past few days after getting rejected from 10+ schools in a row. Stanford would be amazing right about now but it’s probably not happening. KMS
Yep definitely the most holistic
Just Accepted by Rice and so eager to continue the luck today
@mdorbust Do you think that having good SAT Subject tests make a student a child prodigy? Oh boy =))
@kittymom1102 ahahaha thanks ^.^ but I think its a little late to send in an update now! Maybe worth sending it to the ivies though do you think??
That’s why they reject so many applicants in REA
@Bossof9000 Good luck! Hope to see you there if things don’t work out with Harvard!
40 minutes guys!!
Back at the time I applied I didn’t even know that now you have to take the ACT with subject tests. I heard from my GC that that only SAT testtakers needed them… well she got fired so oh well. Looking at them now I could’ve totally aced them after taking bio and german-level math. If only APs could take over for subject tests
@harvard2020babe Did you get a stanford likely letter?
