these schools are crazy tho, my friend has 1580 sat 45 ib and national fencer, rejected from all the ivies and MIT so far

for sure! I donāt like Yale at all, also if you read up a bit on why legacy admissions became a thing or the Harvard personality score was a thing, they are all rooted in racism or antisemitism. Itās so stupid how people turn a blind eye to the legacy of class differences these institutions produce just because they only care about their bottom line. They are a business whose product is only continued class differences, and who guise themselves as ānonprofit institutionsā

one of my friends who is insanely smart and who had a 34 ACT and 3.96 GPA in the top 6 percent got rejected from all his targets and reaches and I feel insanely bad for him, I read his essays and they were beautiful too. I genuinely can not understand these schools, like what do they want.
