You guys know if this camp is gonna be affected by coronavirus?
@tjay58 I don’t know, but I really hope not! I think it’s still too early to tell what the coronavirus situation will be by July.
I feel like because SHI has fewer people it has a higher likely hood of still continuing… I know that programs like YYGS are most likely going to be canceled because of the number of people they have per session… But everything is still really uncertain… I don’t know if they plan on moving SHI to online if things do get worse…
does anyone know when they are releasing the decisions for regular today? I haven’t seen anything yet
By when do you think the decisions will come out? I thought they were supposed to be out today. Will they notify us via email?
From what I’ve seen on previous replies for early, it looks like they release it late in the day via the website but I’m not sure
@sparkatzz @college0514 I got my early decision email at 6:23 PM (EST). Idk if the decisions were already available before the actual email went out, but I’d assume it’ll probably be around the same time again.
Crap. I just got an email that the program is canceled. It says they are working to create an online alternative “that captures the essence of Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies” and includes “instruction given by the distinguished Stanford Humanities professors who normally teach the residential program”.
Rip. I was looking forward to escaping to California and meeting all of you guys 
waiting for the result to come out…

Do you guys think there’s any possibility that they’ll revert back to the residential program if the situation gets better? If not, do you think it would be possible for me to transfer my application to the summer of 2021?
they said results will now be announced mid to late april

ugh that’s such a bummer, but I do wonder why moving to online is affecting the admissions decisions though. Anyway, even if I get in, I would be in a different time zone which would make seminars and live discussions almost impossible for me :neutral:
Hi! How do you know that the admission decisions are deferred? I went on the website and it still says the results will come out on 25 March.
