Any insights if S24 should submit separate LOCI letter in addition to 500 character updates?

Well I sure do hope so haha. Has anyone here submitted their response form yet? Not really sure what to put in the 500 character space.
I don’t think so. There were people who got in in last year’s Stanford waitlist thread, and they only filled in the 500 character form.
I suspect the WL number is the same as all previous years (1% which is approx 500-600). It’s small enough people don’t want to get doxed.
Interesting that Stanford all allow you to submit as many “updates” as you want, subject to the 500-character rule.

this is a rumor but apparently the faculty at stanford are saying that only around 300 were waitlisted this year but again that’s a rumor

Yes this year the waitlist seems really quiet and dead. There were a few on Reddit and a few here.

Did anyone got accepted from the waitlist yet? I did not see anyone get taken off and last year people started to get off after 10th April
Didn’t hear anything back for S24.
Same I guess decisions will come after May 1st
Last year Stanford offered 607 students a place on the waitlist, 506 accepted a spot, and 76 were offered admission off the waitlist.

An intended CS major from CA “claims” that got off the list on Monday. Not verified though.
