Stanley Cup playoffs 2012!

Gaborik! We fans were down on the soft European who hadn’t scored since the first Sen game. Well, at least everyone got their money’s worth.

That was a heartbreaker, but a beautiful goal. I loved the shots throughout the game of Holtby’s parents in the audience and his mom’s reactions.

Happy to see the Predators win one, especially without the idiotic pair of Radulov and Kostitsyn.

My poor long suffering Rangers fan DH is worn out today; he was playing almost as hard as the guys on the ice :)

And yay for my Preds!

long suffering? they won the Cup less than 20 years ago

my poor Caps have only made it to the finals once.

Caps had the better play in the first OT, but didn’t finish their chances and Rangers had the better play in 2 and 3OT

Looks like I’m the only Devils fan around these parts, but–Woooooo!

I was thinking of you, garland, as I watched that Ponikarovsky (old Leaf!) goal last night. The Devils played well.

will anyone be able to stop the Kings?

congrats NYR… Caps gave that one away so looks like you will be advancing to the next round in a couple days.

Well, from a Rangers fan’s perspective, they made it happen. An improbable win, but the type that smacks of destiny. I was able to have the game on my phone while I was watching my son play lacrosse.

(Speaking of improbable, Valdespin for the Mets hits a three run shot–his first hit ever-- off of Papelbon for the win. And would someone explain why there are three TV conflicts for the Rangers and Knicks?)

Wow, have a little faith. The Bruins were down 3-2 in the Finals last year, and they came back and won it.

The Rangers got lucky.

Luck is the residue of design.

Garland: I’m here!!..have been swamped, but watching the Devils (sorry to my TIVO on Thursday nights with all the OT games)…

Did the thread wish Marty a happy 40th?..ok, I will!!

No Rodney, but he definitely had a good one!

Latichever–pretty amazing, is right! As I despise all Philly-related sports, that was a ton of fun for me. (I say this knocking on wood, since I certainly don’t think the Flyers are going to go quietly, and every baseball series with the Phillies is phraught with phear phor me.)

As for our house, we have not quit on the Caps just yet… :)

Flyers fans here – and we hear the fat lady warming up. We will once again snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. All Philly teams are like a bad blind date; so promising and gets your heart beating, but deep down you know it’s never going to work  and you swear you won’t fall for it again. And then football starts…

Take heart, greenbutton–you’ve been dominating baseball for years–the virtual Yankees of the NL.

I’ve watched the Caps collapse too many times in the playoffs to have any faith, unfortunately. =(

Well, the Bruins went 40 years between Stanley Cups, so I understand the sentiment. I think they lost to the Canadiens in the playoffs something like 11 series in a row.

But that’s why we’re fans - every year is our year. :D

Woooo Hoooo!!!

Caps / Rangers heading to game 7

… all the other teams are resting up, heh.
