Yep, it was pretty funny. Unfortunately, the Norwegian ref was nowhere in sight. ;)

Wow! didn’t even wait for the end on the 1st to change the goalie.

Vokoun was falling apart, it was a good move. Although I’m sure that Fleury giving up a soft one 20 seconds after the Pens finally get on the board is not what they had in mind.

Pittsburgh has forgotten how to place defense, breakdowns everywhere.

Well, I might be foolish, but I think Boston will win this, and they are in better shape than the Hawks, as they are going home.

Pittsburgh cannot get anything going. They are just being shut down.

Must be frustrating.

poetgrl, you made me laugh with “Stadium” above. I have never been to a hockey game at the UC.

double post

superstars vs TEAM…seen this story before…when will the pundits learn

Does Pittsburgh have a third goalie?

Two goals in the first minute of two periods? Pittsburgh has their collective head up their collective backside. This is a pathetic display. I don’t think they’ve realized they’re not playing Ottawa any more.

Not that I mind. :D

They did a good job with it gloworm. The noise is right, like the stadium, and they recorded the sound of the old shoes pounding against the metal doors up on the third balcony for the “let’s go hawks.” So, that’s very cool, and a part of the game. It sounds a lot the same, and the Anthem is still the greatest on earth.

But, we do miss Nancy Faust when she used to play “paint it black” on the organ, which is just a timeless memory. Also, people no longer smoke in the stands.
Or have the airhorns. The best thing is that they do the airhorn noises. I’m sure the newer fans have no idea about any of this. They call it the “madhouse” now, because it’s on Madison.

If it’s a boston v Chicago cup, it will be the same teams who were in the bubble hockey game my brother and I used to have growing up.

I have never been able to come close to getting my husband to go to either a hockey game or a basketball game. I’m lucky we occasionally see the Cubs. But in August we are going to Indy to watch two European teams play a football match.

Ouch! I would not want to be anyone from the Penguins giving an interview tonight.

Bruins!!!

You can be my hockey wife any time you want. ;)

^ Scandalous! By your own admission you are notrichenough.

I had to go out last night and was sorry that I was going to miss the game but apparently I shouldn’t have worried! When I got home and my H said that the rerun of Hawaii Five-O was better than the game, I knew it had been a disaster.

Playoff hockey, always unpredictable!

I will say, with respect to all, Go Kings!! And…if anyone had ever told me that I would be seeing so many hockey and basketball games…my young self would say…yeah, really?

I am shopping for game food in an hour or so…stop on by if you are KINGS fans. Yes, go team!

OUCH!!!

The series is on the line for the Kings tonight. If they lose there is no way they are climbing out of a 3-0 hole.

I will not engage in written fisticuffs (I have want to use that word for years) but “our” Kings are capable of anything.
