Caps in usual playoff form tonight… typical.

Wow, Bruins/Leaves was really exciting.

I think this is a back-breaker for Toronto, Bruins will close it out in game 5.

Last night’s Leafs’ game was a heartbreaker but also was one of the best hockey games I’ve ever attended. It was exciting, in both directions. Almost every player on both teams played their hearts out, and the Air Canada Centre was louder than I’ve ever heard an arena. There were tens of thousands of fans outside the arena watching on the big screen and I’m sure every bar in the area was jammed. This Leafs team gave their fans a lot to cheer about, and considering that the concept of them playing toe to toe with the Bruins like that even a year ago was inconceivable, well, it looks like we might have an even brighter future next season. Tuuka Rask has been incredible, facing 95 shots by the Leafs in the two games here. I don’t think it’s likely that we’ll get to see a game on Mother’s Day but this young team has done Toronto proud.

Last night’s Kings vs. Blues…wow what game! We watched from beginning to end. Every television downstairs was on to the game so that we wouldn’t miss anything. We all screamed in joy for the overtime goal.

Youngest Ellebud was so sweet. She told me that I was under no obligation to watch. Yeah…I did. I support all my kids things. To clarify: Mr. Ellebud and I support their lives. Wonderful!!!

Go Wild! Come on, boys, you can steal another one!

Hawks! Oh yeah. Next

Leaving a happy stadium!

Welcome to the Second Round Waiting Room, Chicago. What took you so long?
– Love, the San Jose Sharks

Just happy not to have to play the Canucks again this year

Wait. I thought it wasn’t definitive that the Hawks and Sharks would play. I want Detroit. Lots more history.

I just meant that now the Sharks and Hawks are waiting for the rest of the teams to finish up. Sharks can still possibly play Hawks, Blues or Kings. Hawks still could have Sharks or Detroit.

Gloworm, you and I are on the same page. I want the Kings.

The last time I flew to Florida to go out of the country, the Wings got knocked out of the playoffs a few hours before my plane took off. Tomorrow, my flight to Florida to go out of the country leaves at 7 AM. I’m fearing a repeat :(

Everyone is shaving today in MN.

Let’s go TWINS! ;)

Caps win in OT…

too many years as a Caps fan has me still assuming we will lose the series.

For right now, for the first round, I’m with you, -ing fans. Go Kings, go Wings!

Well, I’m with you, CF. I’d much rather we play Detroit than the Sharks. Or Annaheim. Those bigger teams in Cali give us our only trouble in Chi town. But we will still win if we meet up. Just sayin’

I had the Sharks pegged for a bubble team; I didn’t even think they were sure to make the playoffs. Then I didn’t think they’d make the second round, although I was hopeful when they got the Nucks. Now I’m hoping for the Kings. But I’m still dubious about any third round for my guys.

If the Sharks make the cup finals, I will dye my hair teal.

The sharks are no bubble team. They are tough to beat. Chicago, we want Detroit. Should tell you something. ;)

If you dye your hair teal, post pics. :p

February was not kind to the Sharks. They only won twice that whole month. I was making other plans for May.

Nobody wants the Hawks, but the Sharks also really don’t want the Blues. I’d be happy if the Kings put those Blues away tonight.

Funny that the Sharks don’t want the Hawks and the Hawks don’t want the Sharks. The last game of the season, the Kings played the Sharks: the winner would get the Blues, and loser would get the Canucks. The Kings wanted to win that game and play the Blues; the Sharks were pretty happy to leave the Blues to the Kings.
