I didn’t get to watch the games last night and was somewhat surprised this morning to see the scores.
Saw the video of Bortuzzo taking Fiala into the boards. That was brutal and I can’t imagine why no penalty was called. Not the first time that Bortuzzo has injured an opponent badly.
Obama speechwriter volunteered to write Obama’s speech when whoever turned out to be the Stanley Cup champs came to the White House. Then the Penguins won the Cup. The speechwriter is a Caps fan. (No politics. Just a funny article.)
Yeah, the Ducks finally showed up to in this series after slacking off from a long layover from their sweep over the Flames. Game 4 coming back to Anaheim. Let’s see if the Ducks can tie it up at home!
Sidney Crosby having another concussion is very very bad. Brain injuries from concussions are cumulative. I hope his health providers are giving him health advice with his best interests in mind. Does he want another Stanley Cup if it means Parkinsons?
I was glad to see the heart that the Pens played with last night. They are true competitors. I don’t know if Sidney will be back, but he skated this morning.
The officiating has ranged from mediocre to obysmal, in my opinion, in practically every game I’ve watched since the playoffs began.
I would like to see the Senators join the Preds and the Pens in a 3-1 lead with a win over the Rangers tonight.
Wow, coming back from a 3-0 deficit to tie it up with only 3 minutes left, then scoring the victory goal in double overtime had me on edge for so long… my muscles are sore! What an amazing game at home! Go Ducks!!!
@alwaysamom Hahaha yeah, it was tough trying to go sleep after being so energized! You would’ve be up soooo late and barely had any sleep. I woke up early this morning reliving it. My dogs are still passed out. They were jumping around with excitement with me during every score. :D/ It was probably one of the greatest games I’ve ever watched! Advice to any ticket-goers: Never leave the stadium before the game is over during the playoffs… EVER!!!
Congrats to the Predators! Exciting for them to get through to the conference final and to do it in front of their fans is priceless. Now, who will it be that they play? The Oilers or the Ducks? After that game last night, the Ducks better be ready for a fight.
Here’s hoping that the Penguins get it done tonight.
