Stats for "forwarded to committee review" statuses?

^^wow cody. How many hours are in your day? lol

Didn’t you know cody is like Jack Bauer from 24 he doesn’t need to sleep, eat, or go to the bathroom in a day all while saving the world from numerous terrorists. Just kidding but seriously thats a huge EC list.

So have we come to a consensus that it’s the EC’s that got me this far? haha

Status Change: Yes
SAT: 1990
GPA: 3.8 UW / 4.1 W

I think I might have a change because, like Cody, I have good ECs. Not quite Jack Bauer-status but still pretty good. I’m also a URM. But I applied to Annenberg… so I’m thanking my lucky stars. That is, if the status change means anything.

Have we established that yes, the status change does mean something?

marmar-what did your status change to?

It changed to “forwarded to committee review.”

“The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision.”

As of like 5 minutes ago.

'k, even alamemom will say that ^ is the ONE status that has significance.

^ Dude does that mean I got in?? Or could they be sending a rejection…

Congratulations Cody!

… im slightly confused haha…

Welcome to the Trojan Family!

I’m not believing anything till I get a letter…

You’re not getting a letter…you’re getting a fat envelope.

Yes, I agree. Congratulations Cody!

Straight up denial hahah. Still skeptical.

Is it a fact? How do we know it’s not a rejection?

VERY sensible! Which is probably why USC accepted you.

Cody, you live in southern California. It’s mailed already. You will get it tomorrow, …Friday at the latest. You will celebrate this weekend.
And rejections go out in April.

Still skeptical but getting really anxious!! I wish my parents were awake…

Does the letter say if we got into the program we applied for??

Can anyone clear this up for me - do adcoms work at night and make decision etc? or is it pre-set-up or something?
I’ve been trying to convince myself not to check status once past 5-6pm (although it’s still terribly hard to resist) since I did believe that they’d be off work by then. If this proves to be untrue, then I gotta find something else to keep me from obssessively checking USConnect…

Btw Congrats Cody!
