Last summer i did a summer program at georgetown and stepped on the seal by accident…does this mean i’m not getting in at all? i never got contacted for an interview but i thought since i went to the summer program it would help me with my application…am i def. not getting in now?

ROFL!

kekeke.

YOU’RE DOOMED.

Oh man, I had to jump like I’d never done before to avoid it; even ended up clinging onto a poor old lady…she gave me the dirtiest look, though :(

I don’t think you have to worry too much; they don’t guarantee interviews for everyone and besides, some of the interviews go badly and hurt the applicants anyways (like mine!)

Haha my mom stepped on it touring but I didn’t, so even if I get in no financial aid…

yep, you got no chance dude.

By the authority not really vested in me…I hereby absolve you of all bad mojo asociated with said seal. You should be good now. Whew, and just in time for decisions!

FYI…if you went to a summer program they could already have a personal interview on file from any professors with whom you worked at the time. They probably write evaluations for your “file”, right? You were probably tagged “Interview not necessary”. Agree?

Your fate is SEALED. No Georgetown for you!

I enjoyed my interview… though it turned out to be like 2 hours long. I don’t know if he just gave long interviews or if he liked me.

On topic, you’ll be fine. :)

what does “stepped on the seal by accident.” mean ???

stupid tradition that says if you step of Gtowns seal you wont get in. If your parents step on it you wont get financial aid. Pure ****

well considering I stepped on it and I was just rejected…

two summers ago I did a summer program there as well. When a classmate told me about the seal as we were passing it, I thought he was joking… and stomped on it, jumped on it, ran in circles in it… am I DOOMED>?

LOL @Cacciato
My mom stepped on it and I was rejected xD

I stepped on it and I was waitlisted. Let’s warn future applicants.
