Stock market gurus do not know where the stock market is going...

Unfortunately my wife keeps telling me about what Roubini is saying from what she hears on the radio and I just keep telling her to ignore what she hears on the radio. I wouldn’t say that retesting a previous top is necessarily bullish. I just wait for the market to decide what it wants to do and then follow. If it breaks through, great. If it falls back, great. Trying to predict the future when you’re right must be a great feeling because it happens so infrequently.

:)

Well BCEagle91… You can show your wife the chart.

The chart won’t matter. It’s on the radio so it has to be true.

I’ve offered her the keys to the trading accounts - she hasn’t bitten. The kids are more likely to make trades for me than she is. One kid has studied economics and technical analysis, the other accounting - so they do know a little bit about stuff related to trading.

BCEagle91…If your wife believes everything she hears on the radio…it is a good thing she turned down your offer.

I don’t want anybody touching my brokerage accounts. I can lose without any help.
My kids can use their own accounts.

My kids are really cautious with my accounts. Son was very anxious about making multiple quarter million trades when I was at the dentist. It’s good to be properly frightened when you’re young.

Uhhhhhh…yeah…

I am anxious making quarter of a million dollar trades. :)

You were a market maker, that kind of dollar volume shouldn’t be a big deal.

The average trade on the street is approximately 300 shares and fewer than 10 option contracts…I don’t know if those figures are mean or median numbers.
