This gift idea is a little big for a stocking… but I’m looking for suggestion for immersion blender. It is something I mentioned to my son a few months ago when he talked about his challenges making soup, and he had never heard of them.
It needs to work well for soups. Preferably it won’t have a lot of extra stuff since kitchen space is limited. Ideally it would be from a store such as Target so he can do easy in-person return/exchange if he prefers something else.

I’d be willing to splurge if we knew son would like using an immersion blender. For now leaning toward more of a budget model (if reviews are good). But open to thoughts here.
