Has anyone been accepted to the CS undergraduate program yet, submitted application on January 10th, still no reply?
heniman, maybe you should try to contact them. It’s possible that they are understaffed with this virus crisis, but at least you’ll put your mind at ease. You should have heard something either way. It’s possible that there is something they need to continue to consider your application. Are you certain that you didn’t receieve a request for information? Maybe in Spam and you lost it? Don’t assume that you may have explained something in your essays and they wouldn’t be asking for more info.
Anyone get Financial Aid notification yet?
Has anybody recently received a decision? I wonder if decisions will continue to be released past April 1st due to the college being closed.
For those that got into honors program/ wise did they also send an email or was just it mail?
My Daughter received University Scholars acceptance this morning (3-17-20)!!
It was an email. We are really happy!!
Yes, my son applied on Jan 2 and was accepted to CS sometime in Jan.
Did they release all honors college decisions yet?
i got into honors college yesterday and it was only mail
I haven’t heard of any delays with decisions so I sure hope not. I think we’ve waited long enough.
I actually emailed them asking if there will be delays and this is what the email contained:
Thank you for your email.
Our admissions decisions are currently on track and your application is complete and in the review process. I recommend that you continue to monitor your application portal and emails in case additional information is needed or a decision has been posted.
As you are aware our goal is to make sure all students have a decision by April 1.
We received a similar response. All decisions “should” be posted by April 1.
Has anyone received their financial aid package? There was a letter about a scholarship but not the financial aid package yet.
We haven’t.
Are students still being accepted, because I sent in my application in January and still have not heard anything except they asked for my mid-year grades, could that make a difference in their decision?
We are in a similar situation. Worried because the midyear grades weren’t available until after the deadline and any applications completed after the deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis according to SB. Seems unfair. Haven’t heard anything since either.
I have decided to decline the offer from SBU to free the spot since I will attend Ohio State, Penn State or Pitt instead. Good luck everyone!
@LASLAS Admissions Office know which high schools would have midyear grades late. My son’s school didn’t release the midyear grades till February, so USB didn’t receive the grades till middle to February. Yet he got accepted earlier this month. Best wishes.
Has anyone received a decision for Scholars for Medicine already?
Anyone who applied EOP heard back yet?
