strange code?

I’ve been seeing this a lot today in various places on CC - it’s even on the top of the page I’m on to post this

“; rubicontagcode = rubicontagcode.replace(/##RUBICONCB##/g,rubiconcb); document.write(unescape(rubicontagcode)); document.write(”

@CCadmin_Sorin

I’ve been seeing this as well…at the bottom of most pages. I’ll send you a screenshot.

Me too. The ad failed to load. Glad it’s not a problem with my computer.

rubicontagcode = rubicontagcode.replace(/##RUBICONCB##/g,rubiconcb); document.write(unescape(rubicontagcode)); document.write("

@CCadmin_Sorin

Screen shot sent. Funny code is at the top ad bottom of the screenshot I sent you.

Funny. I realized it was code from an ad that failed to load but I thought it was an ad for Jeep Rubicons since I looked at some online the other day. Google anything and watch it show up in your ads within 24 hours.

ME too-- but I am LOVING that the ads are coming out as “; rubicontagcode = rubicontagcode.replace(/##RUBICONCB##/g,rubiconcb); document.write(unescape(rubicontagcode)); document.write(” Please DONT fix it!!!

Some are now just showing as “undefined”.

Same. I just assumed it was a paid ad that wasn’t loading properly.

Thanks for reporting, guys! And thanks for the screenshot, @thumper1. I’ve created a ticket for the tech team. I’ll keep you posted.

Screenshot should show the quote we all posted, n’est pas?

Yes, that’s correct, @jym626!

Guys, as usual, we need to know your device, OS, and browser in order to investigate further. Do you mind sharing this info with us? Thanks a lot for the great help! We highly appreciate it.

HP Spectre notebook, Windows, Chrome

IPad Air, current updated iOS. CC through Safari.

Currently on my iPhone, but also happened on iPad and computer (chrome). Sorin when is the app coming back? I still have it on my phone but not my iPad.

Desktop: MS Edge, Explorer 11

I tried Firefox which I seldom use and did not get the error.

I’m getting the goofy thing about half the time. Sometimes the ads appear…and sometimes the goofy code.

We believe this should be resolved by now. Thanks!

@CCadmin_Sorin There is this message on the left side of the screen where there should be an ad “undefined”.

And I just got a solid black rectangle at the bottom of a page. That works for me! No ad :slight_smile:
