I plan on going premed, so I worry that I’m not taking Calc BC. Also, I am terrible at chemistry, and I don’t plan on taking AP Chem, but will take AP Bio senior year, so I’m worried how colleges will see that if I’m planning to go premed. Thanks.
How do you intend to get the high grades in chemistry needed for med school if you are “terrible” at chemistry and afraid of AP chem?
You better work on chemistry because premeds need 2courses in biology but give in chemistry (2 inorganic chem, 2organic chem , 1biochem.)
Revisit your goal of med school if you don’t think you can pull an A in AP chemistry. Look at guaranteed entrance nursing or PA programs, for instance.
Calc AB is perfectly fine - you’ll have to start in calculus 1 in college anyway and it’ll give you an edge to secure an A.
Anatomy and Physiology is in necessary though. Take it onlyvif it looks fun to you. It applies to classes you’d have for nursing but your basic biology classes in college won’t deal with anything medicine -related.
Can you remove AP psychology and A&P and replace them both with AP bio? Then take AP chemistry senior year.
For your 7th period either take a study hall or a 'fun’class with very little homework since your schedule would be very rigorous.
